Pre-Registration Process

Welcome to the Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Associates’ pre-registration page. We are happy you have chosen OCOA for your healthcare needs, and we look forward to providing you with quality care and excellent service.

Pre-registration is performed by our friendly staff in the Call Center Department of Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Associates. To assure your service is provided in a timely manner prior to your date of service, you can complete pre-registration online via this website. In addition, our pre-access staff is available Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at 516.536.2800 to assist you with pre-registration questions.

Why pre-register?

This will expedite the registration process to decrease patient wait time on the day of service. We know your time is valuable!

When to pre-register?
Please complete the pre-registration process as soon as possible after you have scheduled your appointment, but no later than one business day prior to your visit. This will allow the staff to have adequate time to verify and confirm your insurance (if applicable).

    Please be prepared to provide the following:

  3. Demographic information (including LEGAL name and date of birth)
  4. Insurance information (available on your insurance card)
  5. First and last name of your physician

Is help available to answer questions?
The Call Center is available by calling 516.536.2800 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Is online pre-registration secure?
The Pre-Access Department supports OCOA values by respecting the right to privacy and confidentiality of all patients. The information you submit will be transmitted via secure 128-bit encryption.

Will it be necessary for patients to bring their insurance card and picture ID to their first appointment?
Yes, OCOA must protect information that is entrusted to us by respecting the right to privacy and confidentiality of all patients. A picture ID is required for positive patient identification and for the safety and security of each patient. In addition, your card will be scanned for future reference into your account.
