Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group expands staff with new director of durable medical equipment

Woodbury, NY (January 28, 2019) – Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group, Long Island’s leading orthopedic practice, is pleased to welcome Casey Cassidy to the practice as the director of durable medical equipment (DME).
In her new role, Ms. Cassidy is responsible for providing Orlin & Cohen patients with the braces, splints and other durable medical equipment needed in the rehabilitation process. She is also responsible for educating patients on the proper use and benefits of their DME, responding to provider inquiries, liaising between providers and insurance companies, and processing billing for all DME.
Ms. Cassidy was previously the DME coordinator for St. Charles Orthopedics/Orthopedic Associates of Long Island. She is a resident of Setauket, NY, and graduated Cum Laude from SUNY Cortland with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
