Brian Mercer, M.D., M.S., is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in spinal surgery. He treats the full range of spinal disorders including degenerative spine disorders, spinal cord and nerve decompression, and spinal reconstruction.
After his orthopedics residency at Boston University Medical Center, where he served as administrative chief resident, he completed a spine fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Mercer has extensive training in cutting-edge surgical techniques. These advanced approaches allow the highest level of surgical precision, improving patient outcomes and speeding recovery.
As a chief resident, he was nominated as an Emerging Leader in The American Orthopaedic Association. He joined Orlin & Cohen in 2020 following completion of his fellowship training.
