Garret J. Garofolo, M.D., is a dual fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, shoulder arthroplasty, and lower extremity pathology with emphasis on complex shoulder, knee and ankle reconstructive and replacement surgeries. Committed to bringing the latest advancements in orthopedics to his patients, Dr. Garofolo recently completed additional subspecialty training in foot and ankle and lower extremity trauma as a fellow at the world-renowned Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO.
As a former hockey player whose career was cut short due to traumatic injury, Dr. Garofolo’s eyes were opened to the rewarding field of orthopedic surgery and sports medicine early on. Dr. Garofolo’s experience and expertise underscore his commitment to improving outcomes for athletes at all levels of competition – getting them back in the game and keeping them there with personalized treatment plans tailored to their goals.
Dr. Garofolo understands the benefits of leading an active lifestyle and always shares practical and preventative information with his patients.
