He is a familiar face on the local sports scene, often providing insights to the press. With his deep expertise and passion for sports medicine, Dr. Reilly continues to make significant contributions to the field and positively impact the lives of his patients and the broader community.
Dr. Reilly’s medical journey began at the Polytechnic Institute of New York, where he excelled academically and athletically. He continued his education at SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine before furthering his training at the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems, where he pursued a fellowship under the mentorship of renowned orthopedic trauma surgeons.
Dr. Reilly’s passion for sports medicine extends beyond the operating room, serving as the team physician for Wagner College and several local high schools and professional sports teams. In February 2021, Dr. Reilly was honored with the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society Award for his unwavering commitment as the minor league team physician for the NY Yankees for 20 years.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Reilly is dedicated to educating future medical professionals and has contributed to the field through a multitude of lectures, presentations, and publications on various orthopedic topics.
