Lauren Grossman, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand surgery and upper extremity orthopedic conditions. In addition to being recognized multiple times as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor®, Dr. Grossman is the associate director of Orlin & Cohen’s Staten Island Hand Center, where she improves patients' lives with the latest treatments.
Having earned her M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Grossman distinguished herself as a recipient of the esteemed George L. Howland Prize, underscoring her academic prowess and dedication to her craft. Throughout her career, Dr. Grossman has demonstrated a passion for advancing the field of orthopedic surgery and treatment for various hand conditions. She has presented numerous research projects at national conferences, exploring innovative surgical techniques, flexor tendon injuries, and upper extremity surgery for seniors.
