Dr. Maximillian Ganz is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Orlin & Cohen, specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction. Expertly skilled in the direct anterior approach and robotic-assisted technology, Dr. Ganz marries surgical precision with a holistic focus on patient health. Dr. Maximillian Ganz earned his medical degree alongside a Master’s in Neuromusculoskeletal Science before completing his orthopedic surgery residency at Huntington Hospital. He further refined his expertise through a prestigious fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Total Joint Arthroplasty at Lenox Hill Hospital where he was chosen for the prestigious award of Fellow of the Month by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Ganz is a leader in modern surgical innovation, specializing in robotic-assisted total hip and knee replacement and the muscle-sparing anterior approach to the hip. Beyond the operating room, he is a dedicated researcher whose work has been featured in The Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, and The Journal of Arthroplasty. His published research focuses on patient optimization, exploring the intersection of nutrition, peptides, and systemic health to improve surgical outcomes and accelerate recovery.
