Dr. Victor Huang is a fellowship-trained sports medicine and interventional spine specialist at Orlin & Cohen. With dual board certifications in sports and emergency medicine, he brings advanced expertise in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, athletic injuries, and back pain. Dr. Huang has extensive experience caring for athletes at every level and utilizes the latest minimally invasive techniques to help patients recover mobility, alleviate pain, and return to peak performance.
Dr. Huang completed his emergency medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital, where he also completed his sports medicine fellowship. He then received specialized training in interventional spinal procedures through Northwell Health. He serves as Program Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship at North Shore University Hospital and Assistant Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra.
He has worked with athletes across all competitive levels, from professional teams including the New York Islanders and Long Island Nets to collegiate programs like St. John’s University, and local high schools. He has also served as medical captain for major endurance events, including the NYC Marathon and Ironman races.
An accomplished researcher and educator, Dr. Huang has published widely on musculoskeletal injuries, ultrasound-guided procedures, and orthopedic trauma, while also lecturing at national conferences. His commitment to innovation and patient-centered care ensures that, whether treating complex musculoskeletal issues or guiding an athlete’s safe return to play, his focus remains the same: helping patients feel better, faster.
