Jacqueline A. Shaw, PA-C, diagnoses and treats patients of all ages and manages fracture care/dislocations, sprains, sports injuries, and arthritis. She performs cast, splint, and brace applications, injections, and maintains up-to-date detailed medical records for her patients. She is first-assist in many orthopedic surgical cases and manages care both outpatient and inpatient including surgical treatment of shoulder, elbow, knee, hip, and ankle. These cases include arthroscopy, ACL reconstructions, joint replacements, and orthopedic trauma surgery.
She joined Long Island Bone & Joint, a division of the Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group, in 2017, directly following completion of her master’s degree in physician assistant studies.
While completing her clinical rotations, Jacqueline gained experience in orthopedics, surgery, family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, pediatrics, gynecology and obstetrics, and long-term care. She was also previously a medical assistant and patient liaison at The Suah Center in Riverhead, NY.
