Samantha Galu, PA-C, is a physician assistant at Orlin & Cohen, dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. With broad clinical experience in orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine, family medicine, and other specialties, she is well-prepared to address a variety of patient needs. Samantha excels at breaking down complex medical conditions, such as wrist and knee injuries, into easy-to-understand terms, ensuring her patients are well-informed and confident in their treatment plans.
Samantha earned her Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Hofstra University and graduated summa cum laude from Marist College with a Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology. As Marist College women’s tennis team captain two years running, Samantha understands the importance of leading an active lifestyle.
Before joining Orlin & Cohen, Samantha worked as a physical therapy aide, assisting patients in recovery and rehabilitation. As a New York State Society of Physician Assistants (NYSSPA) member, she stays updated with the latest medical advancements and brings these techniques to her patients. Samantha’s comprehensive clinical expertise and focus on education and preventative care make her a valuable asset, helping patients return to their daily activities pain-free.
