My knee was bone on bone and extremely painful. After seeing Dr. McGinley who was recommended by a coworker I felt very comfortable going forward with knee replacement surgery. I had the operation at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson and all went well. A very nice hospital with great staff and even good food! After surgery they get you moving right away, and I had a great visiting Physical Therapist Kenneth Nissen that got me started on the path to recovery for the first 2 weeks. After that I went to Orlin and Cohen Physical Therapy in Massapequa, NY. The staff there was excellent and finished my Physical Therapy. Felross Arimas was my therapist and she not only helped with my recovery but also set me on my path to self maintenance and exercise routine. All in all a very good experience.
