I had terrible pain in my right knee. I saw orthopedic doctor working in Orlin & Cohen. He gave me cortisone injection. Later on, he gave me gel injection. These didn't work as should. Well, my last hope was PT. I had no idea who is who in Bellmore Branch. Luckily, I got evaluation appointment with Skyler Vitiello. She did a thorough examination, asked me several questions, measured knee diameter. She examined if my knee could touch the bed straight surface. On the basis of this evaluation, she carved a custom exercise menu based on my knee's condition. The exercises started showing effect and my pain slowly, slowly started getting down. One of the items was massage on knee. It looked as if she has magic fingers. It was the most effective part and during every visit next visit I was looking forward to it. This PT continued for few weeks, a time reached when my pain was very much under control, and I could walk normally, climb up the stairs normally (not one step at a time). My wife also had similar issues with back and knee. She didn't have faith in PT based on her experience with other company. I encouraged her to try Orlin & Cohen at Belmore. She is feeling better.
