When my knee became more and more painful (after putting surgery off for about 10 years), Dr. Brian J. McGinley was a natural and obvious choice. He had helped me with knee problems in the past, and I had recommended him to a number of people, several of whom chose him for total knee replacement surgery. When I finally realized surgery was my only option, I followed up with these people, and their excellent results further reinforced my high opinion of Dr. McGinley. As terrified as I was, it was time to go ahead with the surgery. It goes without saying that Dr. McGinley is everything you could want in a doctor and surgeon. He is friendly, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and experienced. He addresses your concerns, and answers your questions without rushing through your appointments. His office staff is equally exemplary. All of them. I especially appreciated the assistance and patience of Deanna and Mary, who also helped to alleviate my fears, Mather Hospital was chosen for the surgery (July, 2025). That turned out to be an excellent decision. Everyone there was amazing. The entire team! Much of my fear disappeared. I couldn't have asked for more. I would like to mention, in a special way, Dr. Chen, my Anesthesiologist, who did a great job in every way, and Alain Jay Neri, ANP-BC,, who I'm quite sure goes way above what is expected of him (at his job) in his caring, and attention to patients. I can't say enough about him - outstanding. God works in a special way through Dr. McGinley and all of the above. My heartfelt thanks to all. Along with physical therapy, I'm doing well.
