I put this off for about 1 1/2 years. I saw 3 surgeons and asked around quite a bit. I have 3 people in my family who had shoulder work done. I knew right from the start that Dr. Mallo was my guy. I even told him after meeting him that if he doesn't do it I will be going to Whitestone for another surgeon visit because even though the others may be good I just didn't connect and have a belief that all will go well. I am a PE teacher and pretty active. I needed this to be as good as possible once completed. I am about 8 months out and while there is a little discomfort here and there at least I can use this arm and work. As a matter of fact I went back 2 months after surgery to full time PE work. I just had to be mindful. I had almost no pain after 3 days. I would recommend Dr. Mallo to anyone who needs shoulder surgery. He specialized in this and his expertise and quick in and out surgery time I believe is why my recovery is going so well.
