Meniscectomy Surgery & Physical Therapy Experience – 5 Stars On May 6, 2025, I underwent a meniscectomy to remove part of my meniscus. From the very beginning, my experience was exceptional. My surgeon, Dr. James Paci, was absolutely spectacular—skilled, thorough, and reassuring. I felt completely informed about the procedure both before and after surgery. His two physician assistants, were equally competent and attentive, providing excellent care and follow-up. I began physical therapy just two days later on May 8, 2025, and continued for 12 weeks. My primary physical therapist, Eric Deutsch, was incredible—bright, well-informed, and intuitive. He designed a personalized recovery program that helped me steadily regain strength, flexibility, and confidence. I truly appreciated the individualized attention and progressive approach to therapy. Throughout my time there, I also worked with four of his assistants—Gabby, Sean, Kevin and Samantha, each of whom contributed greatly to my progress with professionalism and care. On days when my primary PT was unavailable, three other physical therapy professionals, Chris G., Alex B. and Brian L.—stepped in. Each was excellent, maintaining consistency in my treatment and ensuring I stayed on track. Lastly, the front desk staff deserves special recognition. Always professional, incredibly accommodating, and genuinely friendly—they made scheduling and check-ins easy and pleasant every time. This was a truly positive and empowering experience from start to finish. I’m grateful for the outstanding care I received and would recommend this Orlin& Cohen team without hesitation.
