I fell on August 6 and was initially diagnosed as having a severely sprained ankle. I met with Dr. Zaret the following week and he told me that my fibula was actually broken. I am grateful for his knowledge to correct such a misdiagnosis. Once my fibula was healed, I went to Orlin and Cohen Physical Therapy in Massapequa and there I met with Jill Byrnes, she immediately told me how to correct my gait, as after walking in a boot for several weeks I didn’t realize how much my gait had changed. I immediately felt the difference in my entire body following her advice. Needless to say that since that day I have received the best care from the entire staff. From the greeting and prompt response of our the front desk staff, the assistance of the aides helping me through my various exercises to the physical therapist gently massaging my ankle, and cheering me on with every progress that I was able to accomplish. The care provided has been tremendous. I am so thankful for the care that I received and I am now able to do all my activities once again.
