After having right knee replacement surgery, it was time for outpatient PT. I went to Orlin Cohen/Orthosport in Port Jefferson Station. Anthony De Rosa was my therapist. Tony is a wonderful therapist. From the day I met him until my last day of therapy, Tony was a caring, friendly professional who tended to my rehabilitation needs. He listened to and answered my questions. He considered how I was feeling on each visit. He encouraged me. He led me through a rehab program that brought me to where I could perform my activities of daily living. He created a home exercise program at discharge for me and told me to call him if I ever have any questions. Tony's colleagues, Justin and Chris, also got to know me and were attentive to my needs. I feel like this was a team effort. The office staff members were friendly and helpful. I attended PT three times a week and then twice a week for a total of 5 months before being discharged and looked forward to each visit to Orlin Cohen/Orthosport in Port Jefferson Sation.
