I broke my wrist while visiting with my nephew and his young family for Christmas. December 23, 2021 while playing football with my 7 year old great-nephew, Because it was the 23rd and nothing could be done until the following week, I had to wait to get home on the 29th and see Dr. Bennett Brown. On January 5, 2022 I was operated on at the Surgi-Center in Lynbrook. I can't say enough wonderful things about the entire process. Dr. Brown was fantastic and the surgery was seamless. I started physical therapy in the Bohemia office on January 19. The physical therapy group at Orlin & Cohen's offices in Bohemia could not have been better. Eileen Duswalt-Agostino and her team are highly trained, professional, yet have a great sense of humor which keeps your spirits up while working had to get well. I highly recommend them for all physical therapy needs. Being there for 6 weeks, I watched how they interact with everyone with all types of needs. I have done therapy at other times for various issues and there is no better care than this therapy group. I did 3 days a week for 6 weeks and my wrist is perfect. Being 68, I did not think that I have would have full motion and strength, which I seriously have. It was a wonderful experience and I thank Eileen and her wonderful team for their care.
