While at work, walking from one building to the next, my foot twisted on a lip in the concrete which resulted in two broken bones in my fifth metatarsal along with a torn ligament in my ankle on my left foot. Needless to say , a challenging journey, physically, mentally, and emotionally. But with my faith still in tact and the incredible care and support of my amazing Physical Therapist ,Yiyu Lin, I'm back on my feet and without surgery. Yiyu's countenance was always positive and sure, without any hint of doubt, that I would be back on my feet sooner than later - if she could help it... as long as I was willing to do the work. And I was willing especially seeing I had a cheerleader on my side. Knowledgeable- every concern or pain I had, Yiyu had an answer... amazing. I can go on, but I'll end it here: I felt Yiyu, along with God of course, willed me back on my feet. And for that I am grateful. Every session, I left challenged and tired...lol, but stronger each time. Thank you again Yiyu! Your smile, bedside manners, zeal for your service, your intelligence and our laughs, will never be forgotten! And I would be remiss not to mention the incredible staff...from the front desk to the assistants and the other Physical Therapists who would encourage me with a greeting, a smile or even demonstrating an exercise- that jump rope wore me out...lol... but I'm jumping now. The kindest individuals.... thank you all!
