I was in the Massapequa office to see Dr. Scott Koenig on Wednesday, June 18th. I have a broken 5th metatarsal. Dr. Koenig explained everything to me regarding the care and healing of my foot and scheduled a follow-up in July. I wanted to let you know that Kathy initially interviewed me about my injury. She was so friendly and helpful, especially at the end of my visit when I received my boot. She patiently explained the best way for me to wrap my foot, put the boot on and adjust it. I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated her patience and professionalism. She didn't rush, took the time to answer my questions, and never made me feel like I was just another 'number.' Additionally, I called the office on Friday and spoke with nurse Jackie about concerns regarding bruising on my foot. She was also so friendly and helpful, and she returned my call after speaking with the doctor on my behalf. I feel that it is important to let people know how nice it is to go into a medical office and be treated this way, since so many other services are rushed and impersonal. All of the staff at the Massapequa office, as well as the doctors (specifically, Dr. Koenig, Dr. J. Goldstein, Dr. Lenart, and Dr. Pallotta), never make a person feel that their problem or questions are irrelevant or silly, so I thank you and I will continue to refer friends and family to your offices because I know the kind of care they will receive.
