I am reviewing Dr Marano as well as the Orlin & Cohen Rehab Dept. Last October I suddenly found myself suffering from a very sore knee. I didn’t hesitate to call Dr. Marano for his expertise, as he had helped my son through a broken ankle with flying colors in the past. After seeing him for a couple appointments, he gave me a cortisone shot, and a script for an MRI. I soon found out that I had a stress fracture on my femur and tibia. I was healing during this time, so I could stand, walk, had range of motion so the next step was Physical Therapy. This turned out to be a very pleasant experience to say the least. From the office staff, Patty and Heidi, the assistants Serena and Jen, and the best DPT I could have wanted, Lia Velys.. I looked forward to each and every appointment with this very professional staff. I am now able to go back to life as usual and I haven’t had to take anything for pain. I would recommend this very professional office and Lia Velys to anyone needing physical therapy.
