Dr. Faust came highly recommended to me by Orlin & Cohen's pain management doctor, Dr. Cheryl Daves. From my first appointment, everyone was friendly and professional. We were so impressed with Dr. Faust's knowledge, easy-to-understand manner, and overall experience. He made all parts of my visit relaxing and explained all treatment options available. From the moment I met Dr. Faust, he made me and my wife feel very comfortable. Dr. Faust explained the XLIF surgical procedure and what to expect in recovery, and answered all our questions. At no time did we feel like we were being rushed at the office visit. We left the office knowing we made the right choice for a surgeon. My surgery was on 5/5/2023 and I arrived at LIJ Valley Stream at 5:30 a.m., was admitted, and was in surgery by 7 a.m. and in recovery by 1:30 p.m. The surgery went very well and Dr. Faust was there to answer all my questions and explained to me what to expect. My surgery could not have gone any smoother and was a complete success! From the time I arrived at the hospital to the time of discharge, every interaction with the nursing staff (LIJ Valley Stream) and Dr. Faust's follow-up medical team was professional, courteous and explained everything and put me at ease. I was walking within one hour of being admitted to my room! All the employees at LIJ Valley Stream were so courteous and professional that it made my stay so enjoyable. I wish I could remember all their names to thank them.
