My Knee replacement took place on March 9th. I Had 2 weeks of PT at the house. I won't lie, The first two weeks were really hard. I Went to Orlin & Cohen PT in Bellmore for the third week. Showed up using a cane and feeling a little stiff. Met with Nicole Kerr who talked to me about what I could expect and she put me on a plan to get me functioning normal again. Well thanks to Nicole and the incredible group of aides, Richard, Jason and Justin who guided me and didn't let me get lazy I was able to walk again go up and down stairs like a champ and more importantly I was able to dance up a storm at a wedding on June 12 just three months after surgery. I am very grateful to Dr. Mumm for a successful surgery and the Orlin & Cohen team for the best outcome. I am enjoying life to the fullest and may end up getting the right knee done as well---If I do I know where I will be going for PT. A shoutout too to the front desk ladies Camille and Jade who were able to schedule my sessions always with a smile and a "be well" on my way out the door after my session This team is the best--they really care about the patients and tried hard to make it fun
