Because I have been successfully treated at Orlin and Cohen in the past, I called them when I returned form Florida with a torn rotator cuff. Dr. Lenart did an evaluation, answered all of my many questions thoroughly and patiently, and then gave me a cortisone shot and recommended I rest my shoulder. It worked like a charm. I was pain free, but I had also lost strength and mobility; and so Dr. Lenart gave me a script for physical therapy. Now, I have never been a big fan of PT. Never had much luck getting results. But once I met Stephanie and her colleagues, Robert and Christopher, and her assistants, I was hooked. At the evaluations session, Stephanie was thoroughly and professional, explaining what she was doing and what she saw as my strengths and weaknesses. She answered all my questions and told me I could expect very good results. At each session, I was impressed with the attentiveness of everyone. I never felt that I was given an exercise and then left to figure it out myself. They demonstrated each procedure, explained what it do to help me, and monitored me as I did it, correcting me when necessary. And always encouraging. I actually looked forward to PT, knowing that I would see any improvement and be given new at home or in house exercised to do. My strength and range of motion in my right shoulder in nothing short of a miracle. I still have work to do, but the program that Stephanie gave me at my discharge is working. I am so grateful to Dr. Lenart and Stephanie and her colleagues for giving back my right arm! I'm a grandmother of 5, so I need both my arms for sure.
