2017 I tore my right ACL playing soccer. I retore the same ACL in 2024 also playing soccer. A year later I tore the left ACL yet again during a soccer tournament. Everytime Dr. Paci and his team was there for me to put me back together. Matt and the team at the Bohemia PT location helped me with my knee injuries the past 2 years. Matt took my goals and helped me get back to taking care of my family. Unfortunately I won't be playing soccer anymore, it's very uncomfortable to play with 2 knee braces however I can run and keep up with my 4 year old easily. I did PT on both sides of the Bohemia location and they did the best they could with the space. There's some machines that could use updates and there's VERY LITTLE room to practice agility work. When there's a full crowd the PT had to adjust the plan to accommodate everyone's needs. Personally I hate to feel like I'm in the way. On the sports therapy side there are so many high school and college athletes and I bet they would truly benefit from a larger area to test their knees at full speed or be able to throw a football and check their range of motion without holding back because someone else is receiving care nearby. I truly feel like I am receiving the upmost care with Orlin and Cohen. Dr. Paci and his team plus Matt and the PT crew do amazing work. I think they could do so much more with a bigger facility.
