In January of 2025, Dr. Joseph Munn performed a total knee replacement on my left knee. The procedure went smoothly and there no complications. Both Dr. Munn and the staff at LIJ Valley Stream were terrific. I am so happy I had the replacement done. It is wonderful to be pain free for the first time in years. In February, I started physical therapy at the Woodbury facility. Nicole and Roma were my physical therapists. They were both terrific. The assistants were great, as well. Throughout my therapy, both Nicole and Roma consulted with each other and myself to make sure I was progressing as safely and quickly as possible. One thing I really appreciated is that they listened to my concerns and needs, and tailored exercises specifically designed to address the issues I was having. I had such a wonderful experience with the staff at Orlin and Cohen that I am planning on having my right knee replaced in November.
