I went in for an emergency appointment on Sunday in excruciating shoulder/upper arm pain. I could not move, sleep or function. The PA-Bob knew exactly what it was even before the X-rays that then confirmed his diagnosis. Calcium build up in the joint area possibly due to a prior injury. He gave me an injection into the joint and a script for a 6 day steroid, muscle relaxer as needed and PT. With in hours I had some mobility back and the pain was becoming tolerable. I waited a week then began PT. I had no idea how thorough and truly focused PT was. Eileen developed a targeted approach to get my shoulder/arm moving and usable again. The stretching and resistance in conjunction with the massage to the area has truly worked. I still have a slight twinge in the area but it is diminishing rapidly. I am done now with PT and am continuing with the program using the bands and printouts they provided. Thank you Orlin & Cohen and your team of experts!
