I have been a patient of Dr. Boylan for a number of years, to treat pain in my right shoulder. We tried several methods to manage the pain, as I was reluctant to consider shoulder replacement. When we exhausted all other options, it was time to consider surgery. Dr. Boylan thoroughly and patiently explained what the surgery would entail, both the procedure and the recovery. He gave me all the facts so I could make the final decision. My surgery was January 15 and I was back to driving and going to out patient PT by mid-March. I was very pleased with the results and with the treatment I received from Dr. Boylan, Kathleen Polak, and the entire staff. My shoulder pain is gone and my quality of life has improved dramatically. I wish I had chosen to undergo the surgery sooner.
