I have been living with chronic knee pain for over 15 years which forced me into a sedentary lifestyle. With all the advances in joint replacement I have heard about, I made the decision to finally consult with an orthopedic surgeon about a TKR. I met with several surgeons but just didn't connect with them. I then met Dr. Alpert and he immediately put me at ease. I had full confidence that I was in good hands, and I was right! I had my surgery on Jan 23 and am making a great recovery. The pain was minimal and the process for homecare was flawless. After three 3 weeks of home PT, I was moved to outpatient care and was fortunate enough to meet my physical therapist Felross Arimass. She is amazing! Ms. Ross put together a PT program for me that really worked. I have exceeded my goals and for the first time in many years, I feel motivated to keep moving now that I am feeling so much better. I am planning for the left knee replacement in September and then there will be no stopping me. I will definitively stick with my care team. They are the BEST! Thank you, Dr. Alpert and Ms. Ross (Frank too) for giving me my life back and letting me plan for the future. Italy, here I come!
