In January of 2024, while playing football, I suffered the worst injury I’ve had in my life, an Achilles Tendon rupture, which required reconstructive surgery. This of course impacted my day to day life, including work, means and methods of transportation and typical day to day activities that we take for granted. Not long before my injury, I had come into contact with Dr. Bobby through the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which we both happen to practice on a regular basis. I had witnessed Dr. Bobby assist people with exercises to improve their mobility, flexibility, strength and conditioning. What stood out to me was his passion for what he does, his willingness to help others, and most of all, the fact that he personally practices what he teaches. Needless to say, after my injury, physical therapy was important if I wanted to go back to playing sports. Dr. Bobby was my physical therapist and I can honestly say that his techniques and methods were top tier. As a person who is usually skeptical, after only my first PT session, I knew that I made the right decision by going to Dr. Bobby. My expected recovery time from my surgeon was 8-12 months until I could resume high intensity activities. With Dr. Bobby’s specially curated PT schedule I was safely back to medium-high intensity activities in about 5-6 months and regained full strength about 7 months post-op. I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Bobby and what he’s done for me and my recovery and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others seeking quality results.
