In late March, I underwent surgery for full thickness tear of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus tendons in my left shoulder. The surgery went well and Dr Price made me well aware of what to expect immediately after and in the weeks following the surgery. I started PT in late April. The PT staff (Rich and Andrew) were excellent as were the exercises therapists. They started with ROM and gradually worked on improving my strength. While they moved cautiously at first, I feel they recognized that I was soon able to increase my workload and added more challenging exercises. They were always quite friendly, encouraging and honest in their assessments. While at times at home, I tried to do a bit too much, they urged caution but encouraged me to slowly return to more normal activity. I feel the routines they put me through were well designed for my recovery.
