Dr. Zaret has helped me tremendously. I had fallen and twisted my ankle and was walking for several weeks in extreme pain. I finally made an appointment with Dr. Zaret and after x-rays I was diagnosed with a bimalleolar right ankle fracture. He stated that I was extremely lucky that i did not require surgery. Why had I waited so long to come in? My ankle was a multi colored swollen balloon. He immediately immobilized my ankle and I was in a CAM boot for 7 weeks. The next visit I was put in an ankle brace and given the go ahead to start Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapy department is awesome. I was evaluated by James Curley who is amazing. He totally wants to help me and adjusts the treatments each week as needed. He always has a smile on his face and he is encouraging. In the 6 weeks thus far my range of motion has improved tremendously. Now we are working on strengthening my ankle. The assistants are friendly and great cheerleaders. They help to demonstrate each exercise. I'm making progress each week and look forward to a full recovery.
