I was told by two doctors that I would need surgery for my ankle. I saw Dr. Koenig at Orlin and Cohen (Massapequa location) and he quickly stated surgery was not necessary and that I would most likely benefit from physical therapy. I ended up going to Orlin and Cohen’s Physical & Occupational Therapy (Massapequa) in hopes of strengthening my ankle and getting rid of a multitude of problems I have had for years (I had surgery back in 2011 for multiple fractures, lesions and a complete detachment of ligaments). There, I received physical therapy from Todd Bornfriend. My life has CHANGED for the best! I no longer feel the pain I have been feeling for years and I do not experience “giving out” sensations anymore. Todd was extremely helpful, receptive, understanding, positive….and funny (that’s always a plus!). I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. I am finally able to work out again regularly and experience a pain-free life. Thank you, Orlin and Cohen, and most importantly, thank you, Todd!
