I went to Orlin & Cohen, Woodbury NY Office, to get an opinion on neck pain that I have been dealing with for years. I have multiple herniated discs in my neck and back. causing a lot of discomfort. After listing to my options, surgery, pain management, it was recommended I start with physical therapy. Not having high hopes, I started therapy and was assigned Jamie Misegades, PT, DPT., out of the Woodbury Office. Jamie was amazing. She developed a solid program to strengthen the neck and back and stuck with me during difficult times. Her encouragement changed my attitude in a positive way and allowed me to buy in to the process. Also working with me, under Jamie's supervision, was another therapist named Roma, (I don't recall her last name). Both Jamie and Roma helped me tremendously, more than anyone else did over the years. I gained much more flexibility with my neck and, more importantly, my pain level decreased significantly. Jamie prepared a home program for me to continue therapy at home and offered her contact information in case I had any questions or concerns. Jamie and Roma are true professionals, who are dedicated to helping people improve their lifestyle. They are a tremendous asset to Orlin & Cohen and I highly recommend them if anyone is in a need for a physical therapist. Thank you, Jamie and Roma!
