Resources of Long Island’s leading private orthopedic practice now available in Massapequa

All of the resources of Long Island’s leading private orthopedic practice are now available in Massapequa, as Island Orthopedic & Sports Medicine has joined the Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group.

Conveniently located at 660 Broadway, the full-service office is a natural extension of the Orlin & Cohen network in Rockville Centre, Cedarhurst, Merrick and Bohemia, where board-certified, fellowship-trained subspecialists treat more patients than any other private orthopedic practice in Nassau and Suffolk.

“We are pleased to announce the addition of the Island Orthopedic physicians to the Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group,” says Michael Passet, CEO. “Our practice has many of the most well-respected orthopedists on the Island and an outstanding reputation for providing comprehensive, specialized orthopedic diagnosis and treatment. We are quite fortunate to have Drs. Carroll, Barkin, Lippe and Kuri joining our team.”

These services are complemented by those available throughout the Orlin & Cohen network, including occupational therapy, in-house MRI, ultrasound, digital x-ray systems for filmless x-rays as well as electronic health records, which make patient information readily accessible to every Orlin & Cohen physician.

“Now that we’re part of Orlin & Cohen, our patients will benefit from an even broader array of specialized care – from x-rays and MRIs, through treatment and therapy – that can help promote healing and a faster return to an active life,” Dr. Carroll explains.
