Germaine N. Rowe, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified pain management specialist with more than two decades of compassionate service to her patient’s well-being. Highly regarded in her field, Dr. Rowe has been recognized as a Top Doctor in New York Magazine for multiple years. Attentive and empathetic, her approach goes beyond addressing symptoms. Whether the pain is oncology-related or orthopedic, she delves into understanding the unique needs of every person she treats, developing personalized care plans that empower patients to reach their goals.
Dr. Rowe earned her Doctor of Medicine at the SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, followed by a groundbreaking fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center under the mentorship of Dr. Russell K. Portenoy, the pioneering chairman of the Department of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care – the first of its kind in the US. Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Rowe has obtained multiple board certifications, including the American Board of Pain Medicine and American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine.
Her passion for advancing medical knowledge and standards is evident through active memberships in prestigious associations, such as the American Pain Society, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the International Spinal Injection Society.
