Alexa Nicole Capuano, PA-C, is an orthopedic physician assistant at Orlin & Cohen. She works closely with patients to obtain and understand medical history, perform examinations, review diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
During her clinical rotations at the renowned George Washington University, Alexa gained experience in a variety of medical specialties, including emergency medicine, primary care, orthopedic surgery, and women’s health. With a special interest in orthopedic surgery, Alexa completed an additional rotation with Orlin & Cohen, where she assisted in arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgeries and open elbow surgeries.
Alexa has also worked as a medical scribe at Stony Brook Orthopedics Associates, where she was responsible for improving patient care and communication. Committed to excellence and professional development in her practice, Alexa belongs to several professional affiliations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.
