I am writing to express my gratitude and appreciation for one of your physical therapists. Frenny Mehta is currently a Senior Physical Therapist at Orlin and Cohen in Bohemia. She is knowledgeable, compassionate and dedicated to her profession and to her patients. She has gone above and beyond to help me recover both physically and emotionally from my injury. She is a true professional who should be recognized for all of her hard work. I first met Frenny in September 2018 at her previous employer when she treated me post ACL reconstructive surgery. Unfortunately, in May 2022, I received the news from Dr. Alex Rothfeld that my first surgery was not successful and I would need two- stage revision ACL reconstructive surgery. Over the years, I have gone to other physical therapists, and I came to realize that no one compares to Frenny. I decided that commuting an hour each way from Long Beach to Bohemia multiple times a week would be worth it to be treated by Frenny as she provides the highest level of care. Since my first evaluation, Frenny has always been a good communicator and listener. She genuinely listens to me, asks questions, understands my needs and continues to provide me with an understanding of what I can do to successfully recover. She is highly intelligent and knowledgeable in her field. Frenny demonstrates a strong desire to help her patients and to improve their quality of life. Throughout some of my sessions, I have become frustrated and discouraged. Frenny has consistently provided me with the support, confidence, and motivation I need to keep going and has spent an abundance of time developing a plan that meets the protocol provided by my surgeon. She frequently modifies my exercises, stretches and therapy sessions to meet my current level of ability. Frenny is very hands on in every therapy session as she makes sure each exercise is being performed correctly and that I continue to progress in my strength and agility. Because of Frenny, I have recovered from a very difficult and debilitating injury. Frenny was an integral part of my recovery. I really do not think that I would have been able to do it without her. Although I am focusing this letter on my personal experience with Frenny, I can attest to the high quality level of care and support that she provides to all of her patients. During my sessions, I have witnessed Frenny’s interactions with her other patients and it is evident that she has established a good rapport and relationship with everyone she works with. She is patient, kind, personable and encouraging. Frenny makes her patients feel comfortable and safe while also challenging them to physically push themselves to overcome challenges. Words cannot express my gratitude for the care and commitment I have received from Frenny. Frenny is an unbelievable asset to her field and your practice.
