To say that I've be skeptical of PT for the past 20 years would be an understatement. Had a past horrible experience with PT at another organization, so when I was told I needed PT on my right shoulder to avoid surgery or avoid further injury, I was not happy. Until I met Tony at the Garden City Orlin & Cohen location at 8 am one Saturday morning. I've only had 5 sessions with Tony so far but let me tell you, he's made a believer out of me that with the RIGHT Physical Therapist it can make all the difference. He explains things that are happening with my shoulder in everyday talk, doesn't talk over my head with terminology and just has an overall positive outlook with my treatment.. I trust his judgment. He is patient with me, answers my questions/concerns. He keeps things light and positive when doing the exercises needed to heal my shoulder. Always friendly, upbeat and genuinely cares about his patients. This was very much the opposite of what I experienced in the past. So to say that I'm happy that I made the appointment to start PT and was paired with him would be an understatement. I've always used Orlin for the doctors but because of my experience with Tony, I'll be using Orlin for Physical Therapy as well. He is an asset to your organization.
