The Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group Announces Orthopedic & Sport Medicine Partnership at Long Island University Athletics

Merrick, NY (October 11, 2019) ​– The Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group, an affiliate of Northwell Health, has entered a partnership with Long Island University to be named an Official Partner and Orthopedic Group of LIU Athletics. They will be providing orthopedic sideline, game and event medical coverage across the Brookville Campus. In addition, player physicals and overall player health will be expertly managed, in LIU’s continuous commitment to the health and development of its players.

Orthopedist James Paci, M.D., Orlin & Cohen’s Director of Sports Medicine for Suffolk county, has been appointed as Medical Director and Head Team Physician for LIU/Brookville Athletics. Dr. Paci will oversee and provide care for 460 athletes participating in 17 Division I athletic teams. Primary care sports medicine specialist Dr. Leslie Ellis and the Orlin & Cohen Sports Medicine team will assist in providing comprehensive sports medicine care for LIU’s student athletes.
