Marco Palmieri, D.O., is a fellowship-trained pain management specialist who has lectured extensively on a variety of pain medicine topics, including spinal cord and DRG nerve stimulation, among others. He is at the forefront of available interventional pain management techniques and utilizes them to reduce or eliminate medication-based therapies. Before joining Orlin and Cohen in 2019, Dr. Palmieri was the medical director of the Center for Pain Management and the chief of the Chronic Pain division at Stony Brook University Medical Center, as well as an associate professor at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University.
